PRINCETON AREA: Police blotter

Items submitted by area police departments:

   Princeton
   Sang Hyun Kim, 18, of Dumont, Conn., and a juvenile companion, 17, were charged with underage possession of alcohol and tampering with public documents on Nassau Street on May 30 at 9 p.m. Mr. Kim was also charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of paraphernalia for a controlled dangerous substance.
   A resident of Wiggins Street reported his or her Bridgestone bicycle was stolen from the house’s front porch sometime between 10 p.m. May 29 and 8:40 a.m. May 30. Police said the victim was unable to determine the value of the bicycle at the time of the report.
   A resident of Wilton Street reported her Schwinn mountain bicycle was stolen from the house’s front porch sometime between 8 p.m. on May 26 and 7 a.m. on May 27. Police said the value of the bike is unknown.
   Steven Aparicio-Paz, 18, of Lawrenceville, was charged with the theft of an Xbox and a laptop computer on Route 206 at Princeton Avenue on May 31 at 4:26 p.m. He was released after posting 10 percent of the $1,500 bail.
   Gilberto Rivera, 30, of Perth Amboy, was charged with having $3,750 in active warrants after being pulled over on Nassau Street at Witherspoon Street on May 31 at 11:51 a.m.
   Corinne Roese, 52, of Skillman, was charged with driving while intoxicated on Cherry Valley Road near Great Road on May 31 at 1:42 a.m. She also received summonses for driving while intoxicated in a school zone, refusal to submit to breath tests and other motor vehicle violations.
   Benjamin Weeks, 33, of Trenton, was charged with having more than $2,800 in active warrants out of Lawrence after being pulled over on Mercer Street near University Place on June 1 at 1:25 p.m.
   Raymond Rossi, 45, of Hamilton, was charged with having more than $1,900 in active warrants out of Trenton after being pulled over on Rosedale Road near Elm Road on June 1 at 9:52 a.m.
   William Lehrman, 57, of Ellicott City, Md., was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated in a school zone and driving while intoxicated with a minor as a passenger on Nassau Street near Mercer Street on June 1 at 12:53 a.m. Police said he also received other motor vehicle summonses.
   Joshua Gordon, 21, of Princeton, was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated in a school zone and texting while driving on Witherspoon Street near Guyot Avenue on June 2 at 5:23 a.m. Police said he also received other motor vehicle violations.
   A victim reported someone broke off the side view mirror of her car while it was parked on Mercer Street on June 6 at 1:28 a.m. Police said the cost to repair the damage was unknown at the time of the report.
   Jessica Proszynski, 25, of Hillsborough, and Andrew Nation, 34, of Scotch Plains, were in a car accident on Rosedale Road near Province Line Road on June 3 at 9 a.m. Mr. Nation was taken to a local hospital and Ms. Proszynski received a summons for careless driving.

   Montgomery
   Steven Jordan of Raritan was charged with having an active traffic warrant for $2,500 after being pulled over on Route 206 on May 27 at 8:34 p.m. He also received summonses for operating an unregistered vehicle and driving while suspended.
   Plainsboro
   Supremia, a promotions company on Morgan Lane, reported someone had caused $300 worth of scratches to the passenger side and the front of its company car sometime between May 25 and the evening of May 29 while it was parked in the company’s parking lot.
   A female resident of Quail Ridge Drive, 35, reported she received multiple harassing text messages from a known acquaintance while at her apartment on May 30 at 9:16 a.m. Police said she did not want to sign complaints at the time.
   Rafael A. Cordero, 35, of Corona, NY, was charged with driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated with two male relative juveniles, ages 7 and 8, on Route 1 on May 28 at 10:52 p.m. He also received summonses for refusal to provide breath samples, reckless driving, failure to maintain a lane, failure to keep right and obstructed view.
