The Friends for the Abbott Marshlands will host a wildflower and fern walk from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Mary Anne Borge, a naturalist at Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve, will lead the leisurely woodland walk in the shade. The Friends for the Abbott Marshlands will host a canoe/kayak trip along the Delaware River and Crosswicks Creek at 10 a.m. Meet at the confluence of the Delaware River and Crosswicks Creek on Bordentown Beach. The paddle is an 8-mile tidal trip through the Abbott Marshlands to Roebling Park and back. Bring lunch and water. Rentals are not available. Bordentown Elks Lodge 2085 has bingo every Tuesday at 7:15 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m. There is a progressive jackpot, and food is available for purchase. The lodge has sandwich night every Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. The price is $6 per person. Lodge 2085 also hosts a breakfast the third Sunday of every month from 8 to 11 a.m. All proceeds benefit the Special Children’s Committee.
Kindergarten Roundup is approaching for the Bordentown School District.
