Debby Alter, director of immigrant and refugee services at the Jewish Family Vocational Services of Middlesex County, will hold two citizenship workshops.
The first program will be held at 7 p.m. Jan. 13 at the Edison Main Library, 340 Plainfield Ave. A repeat of the program will be held at 7 p.m. Jan. 21 at the North Edison Branch Library. Both workshops are free of charge.
Topics to be discussed include citizenship eligibility requirements; where, when and how much it costs to file an application; citizenship test preparation; the citizenship interview; and filing petitions for family abroad.
