U.S. heroes should be remembered

A nation should always remember its heroes. Where would we be today without Thomas Alva Edison, who invented the light bulb; Charles Babbage, who invented the modern computer; Martin Luther King Jr., who put an end to segregation; or Abraham Lincoln, who stopped slavery? All these people have done something amazing for our nation, and I think the least we can do is remember them.

Aside from famous heroes as listed above, there are everyday heroes such as the men and women in the military. It’s very important to remember that they’re the reason we still have freedom. Even your local firefighters or police crews are heroes. Take the time to think about the heroic work they do.

There are so many heroes in this nation, and everyone should try to remember and thank them.
