The Jewish Community Center (JCC) of Middlesex County will host a lecture by Bruce Tucker at 1:30 p.m. July 8 at the JCC, 1775 Oak Tree Road, Edison.
Tucker will discuss the true story of a rescue operation by a secret Jewish fleet to deliver refugees from the Holocaust. In time, these refugees and ships would become the initial population and backbone of defense for Israel.
