The Northern Burlington 8U Baseball Team didn’t let a night of thunder and lightning stop them. They brought a storm of their own on July 3 to win the Cal Ripken Southern New Jersey District 1 Championship.
As district champions, Northern Burlington moved on to the Southern New Jersey State Tournament with a bye in the first round. The team won three games and then lost.
The team players are Peter Klusman (l-r), Tyler Stizza, Tony Kownacki, Keith Tillett, Ryan Watson, Luca Mannino, Michael D’Aulerio, Matthew Siverio, Brayden Boyd, Gabe Winkowski, Anthony Byles and Sal Cusato. The coaches are Ed Klusman (l-r), Greg Byles and Rob Siverio.
