New traffic pattern needs improvements

Dori and Jim Anderson, Hopewell Township
There needs to be more marking or barriers at the new traffic pattern the county created (at the fork in the road) at the south end of Main Street, Pennington.
We travel that way often and have seen several cars disregard the new left turn lane and just bear to the left and continue onto Pennington-Lawrenceville Road.
This is now an even more dangerous intersection than it was before the new lane was put in. Motorists in the new turn lane need to be aware that cars may be coming at them from the left.
Our local police departments need to assess ways to make it better and work with the county to better mark it, or put up some kind of barriers to keep motorists from disregarding the new traffic pattern.
