 The Friends of the Library book sale will take place at the Jackson Library, 2 Jackson Drive, Jackson, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. April 25; from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. April 27-30; and from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. May 1-2.  Georgian Court University’s 20th annual 2015 Golf Classic honoring Robert E. Mulcahy III, a longtime advocate for higher education, will take place May 11 at Spring Lake Golf Club, Spring Lake Heights. Participants will begin the day with an 11 a.m. lunch, followed by a noon shotgun start.  Boy Scout Troop 515, Ramtown-Howell, will host an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 8-11:30 a.m. May 3 at the Howell Elks Lodge No. 2515, 84 Ramtown- Greenville Road, Howell. Breakfast includes pancakes, sausage, coffee, tea and orange juice. Tickets: $7 for adults; $3 for children under 12; free for children under 3.

 The Plumsted Library, 119 Evergreen Road, New Egypt, will hold a children’s story time at 1:30 p.m. April 27. This event will include a story and a craft that is appropriate for children ages 3-6. Details: 609-758-7888.

 Kira Shcherbakova will perform at the DeBows United Methodist Church on April 26 at the 9 a.m. contemporary service and at the 11 a.m. worship service.  Jackson’s “Meet the Mayor” event with Mayor Michael Reina will take place at 7 p.m. April 27 in the main meeting room at the municipal building, 95 West Veterans Highway, Jackson. These sessions will be open to the public.
