Gloria Zastko Gloria Zastko, 83, passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 26.
She was born in New Brunswick and resided in North Brunswick throughout her life. She graduated from New Brunswick High School in 1949 and went on to attend Rutgers College.
Mrs. Zastko started a career in real estate in the 1970s. By the early 1980s, she was a “trailblazer” in the industry, according to her son, Andrew Zastko.
In 1991, Gloria, Andrew and a select group of charter members established Gloria Zastko Realtors in North Brunswick. The firm has sponsored many scholarships and blood drives, as well as contributing to the North Brunswick 9/11 memorial.
Mrs. Zastko is survived by her husband of 61 years, Anthony; daughter Lisa Caucino, and her husband, Joseph; son Andrew Zastko and his wife, Janet; and five grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements will be handled by Selover Funeral Home in North Brunswick. Services are scheduled for 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. April 29. The funeral service is set for 9:15 a.m. April 30, with Mass to follow at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Church in North Brunswick.
