The Metuchen Public Library has entered a partnership with Driving-Tests.org to offer free online DMV practice tests to library patrons.
Available online at metuchenlibrary. driving-tests.org, the resource is written specifically based on New Jersey state DMV materials. Users do not need to provide a library card number or personal information.
The driver education program contains 10 car practice tests, six motorcycle practice tests, three commercial driver’s license (CDL) practice tests, three online driver’s manuals (car, motorcycle, CDL) and a FAQ section with answers to more than 100 DMV-related questions. In addition to free tests, the new service offers tools that allow users to hear selections read aloud, convert them into MP3s, translate pages into other languages, magnify text and mask sections of the screen for greater visibility.
