New Beginnings Animal Rescue (NBAR), 706-R Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, will waive adoption fees for all adult cats and dogs May 1-31, to mark the shelter’s first anniversary and to thank the community for its support. Adoption hours are 3-7 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and noon-4 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
All pets at the shelter are spayed/neutered, up-to-date with vaccines, tested, dewormed, groomed and checked by a veterinarian prior to adoption. Applications are required.
