Presented by actor Danny Aiello, “The Italian Chicks” opens its East Coast tour on May 31 at the George Street Playhouse in New Brunswick. It is a one-night-only comedy and song event that kicks off the group’s tour.

“The Italian Chicks” is a two-hour comedy revue variety show with a focus on family, traditions and culture.

Keeping their own Italian-American memories alive, they bring their audiences to a place in their hearts that they love to revisit.

This act brings together four personalities in the United States. Maryann Maisano, the show’s producer and headliner, hails from Fort Lee. Her original composition “City of Light” was recorded by Aiello and nominated for a Grammy Award. She has also opened for Ray Romano and Joy Behar.

Completing the lineup of talent are Mary Dimino, who earned the distinguished MAC Award for Best Female Stand-Up in New York. Regina DeCicco spent five seasons writing for “Saturday Night Live” and “Whoopi.” Gina Scarda is retired from the New York Police Department, at which time she began her comedy career.
