On July 9 at 11:20 p.m. Officer Alexis Mirra was detailed to the Denow Road Shopping Center on the report of a suspicious male. Upon arrival she located Steven L. Robbins, 26, of Conrad St, Trenton. While speaking with him a warrant for his arrest from the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department for failure to pay $28,000 in back child support was located. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Mercer County Correction Center where he was lodged in default of bail. 

On July 2 at 5:30 p.m. Officer Lincoln Karnoff was detailed to a cell phone tower site on Federal City Road on the report of a theft. Upon arrival he met with a representative from AT&T who advised that sometime over the past few weeks several brass grounding plates had been stolen from the tower site. The value of the plates was estimated at $2,000. The investigation is ongoing. 

On July 12 at 3:41 p.m. Officer Joseph McNeil was dispatched to a residence on Pennington Titusville Road on the report of a burglary and theft that occurred to an outbuilding. Upon arrival he spoke with the victim who advised that sometime during the past few days someone had entered into his barn and stole approximately $1,720 worth of power tools including a chainsaw, generator, and a power washer. The investigation is ongoing. 

On July 11 Officer James Klesney investigated a minor motor vehicle crash on Valley Road involving a 2010 Nissan. While speaking with the driver, Melina Reyes, 23, of Elizabeth, he smelled alcohol on her breath and person, police said. After roadside sobriety testing she was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters. She was processed and released to a friend after being charged with DWI and reckless driving. Her case will be heard in municipal court. Officer Klesney was assisted on scene by West Amwell Township Police Department Officer Joseph Cesare. 

On July 11 at 1:26 a.m. Officer James Klesney was assisting Sgt. Kevin Zorn with a drunken driving investigation on Route 29 near Church Road. While on the scene, a second motorist approached Sgt. Zorn inquiring about the first investigation. While speaking to the second motorist, who was identified as Jed. H. White, 34, of Yardley, Pennsylvania, the odor of alcohol was detected on his breath and person. After Officer Klesney had Mr. White perform roadside sobriety testing, he was placed under arrest for DWI. He was transported to police headquarters where he was processed and released to a friend. He was charged with DWI and reckless driving. His case will be heard in municipal court. 

On July 11 Officer Christopher Vaccarino stopped a 2011 Ford for a motor vehicle on Route 29 near Route 546 for a failure to maintain lane violation. While speaking with the driver, George J. Gindhart, 39, of Cinnaminson, the odor of alcohol was detected on his breath and person. After roadside sobriety testing he was placed under arrest for DWI. He was transported to police headquarters where he was processed and released to a friend after being charged with DWI, reckless driving, and failure to maintain lane. His case will be heard in municipal court. 

On July 12 at 12:15 a.m. Officer William Gaskill was dispatched to a motor vehicle crash on Columbia Avenue near Greenwood Avenue. When he arrived he found a 1995 Chevrolet rolled over on its side and two parked cars damaged. He spoke with the driver, Adan T. Calel, 23, of East Prospect Street, Hopewell. While speaking to Mr. Calel the officer smelled the odor of alcohol on his breath and person, police said. After roadside sobriety testing he was placed under arrest for DWI. He was transported to police headquarters where he was processed and released after being cited for DWI, reckless driving, being an unlicensed driver and driving an uninsured vehicle. His case will be heard in Hopewell Borough Municipal Court. 

Officer James Hoffman charged Joseph Goodhouse of North Greenwood Avenue, Hopewell, with theft on July 15. Officer Hoffman was advised that Mr. Goodhouse was seen walking along North Greenwood Avenue with flowers in his hands that were reported stolen from in front of the Hopewell Borough Train Station. Mr. Goodhouse, 64, was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters for processing. Mr. Goodhouse was later released and his case will be heard in municipal court. 
On July 15 at 3:45 p.m. Officer John Ferner stopped a 1998 Chevrolet on Pennington Road for a traffic violation. While speaking with a Passenger, Dajawn M. Patterson, 24, of Trenton, a warrant for his arrest from the City of Trenton was located. He was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters where he posted bail on the warrant and was released. 

On July 13 at 9:55 a.m. Officer Nicholas Sparaco stopped a 2009 Ford on Scotch Road for a motor vehicle violation. While speaking with the driver, Vanessa D. Hill, 27, of Trenton, warrants for her arrest from Lawrence Township were located. She was placed under arrest and turned over to Lawrence Township after being cited for driving an unregistered vehicle and driving while suspended. Her case will be heard in municipal court. 
