HILLSBOROUGH: Police report thefts of gas grill, video game, iPod, computer

Hillsborough police reported four thefts in the week from July 12 to 17.
A Wildflower Lane resident said on July 17 that a gas grill had been taken from his backyard sometime overnight. The value of the grill and its cover was put at $725.
An employee at a Route 206 business reported the theft of a video game system, a video game and some change from his vehicle while it was parked outside the business on July 14. The total value of the items was estimated at $300.
An Eves Drive resident reported July 12 that someone had entered their vehicle overnight and taken an iPod, an iPod accessory and some change. Value of the items was put at $40.
A contractor working at Amwell Road business reported the theft of a tablet and pair of sunglasses, worth a total of $390, from his vehicle on July 11.
In other incidents:
— Chenis Lopez-Quiroz, 28, of Bound Brook was arrested and charged with hindering apprehension after he allegedly provided a false name and date of birth to an officer during a June 23 motor vehicle stop on Route 206.
He was also charged with having an unclear license plate, being an unlicensed driver and having a suspended driver’s license. He was released and given a date to come to municipal court.
— Jesus Gonzalez-Martinez, 52, of Manville was charged for driving under the influence after his vehicle was stopped by police on Route 206 on June 24. He was also charged with failure to use a signal before changing lanes, being an unlicensed driver, failing to wear a seatbelt and refusing to submit to chemical testing. He was released and given a court date.
— Suzanne Stanford-Harvey, 48, of Washington was charged with driving under the influence after her vehicle was stopped by police July 3 on Route 206. Blood and urine results are pending laboratory analysis. She was released with a date to come to court. 
