Weichert, Realtors’ Metuchen office hosts a pet drive for Edison Animal Shelter

Marilynn Scafidi, manager of Weichert, Realtors’ Metuchen sales office, announced that they will be joining forces with the Edison Animal Shelter to help provide critical provisions needed to care for the animals housed at the shelter. From September 19-26, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., the community is encouraged to drop off the following items at the Weichert Metuchen office, located at 640 Middlesex Ave.: cat and dog toys, Pupperoni dog treats, Friskies “Party Mix” cat treats, Exquisicate Paper Chip cat litter, Purina Fancy Feast cat and kitten food, and Purina Pro dog and cat food, and more. The items will then be donated to the Edison Animal Shelter and used to provide the crucial care essentials needed by vulnerable animals in the local community.

“Pets have a truly special place in all of our families and every little bit we can contribute to those in the shelter makes a difference,” said Scafidi. “We are honored to assist an organization that works so diligently to help the homeless animals who are in need.”
