 Monmouth Worship Center, 37 Vanderburg Road, Marlboro, will hold “Back to Church Sunday” at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Sept. 20. This service is part of a national movement of churches across America.

 The Freehold Art Society will hold “Create A Still Life” at 7 p.m. Sept. 30 at the Monmouth County Library Headquarters, Symmes Road, Manalapan. A still life will be set up and participants are invited to draw or paint using their own materials. Beginning artists are welcome. This event is free and open to the public.  The Freehold Elks Lodge No. 1454, 73 W. Main St., Freehold, will host its monthly breakfast from 9 a.m. to noon Sept. 20. The cost is $9 for adults and $5 for children under 12. Proceeds benefit local charities and organizations. All are welcome to attend. Details: 732-431-8707.

 Jamie Sklarski, a doctor of audiology who serves as northeast regional cochlear implant consumer specialist for Advanced Bionics, will describe the latest advances and enhancements in cochlear implant technology at the Ocean-Monmouth Hearing Loss Support Group meeting at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 27 at the Monmouth County Library Headquarters, 125 Symmes Road, Manalapan.
