Model Grand Opening Sept. 19-20 at new Monroe Township 55+ community

The finishing touches are being put in place as construction wraps up on the first two model homes at K. Hovnanian’s Four Seasons at Monroe, a new active-adult lifestyle community being developed off Prospect Plains Road in Middlesex County’s Monroe Township. The builder will unveil the new models for the first time during the weekend of Sept. 19-20, with guests invited to visit and tour the homes between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. each day during the Model Grand Opening event.

K. Hovnanian’s Four Seasons at Monroe offers 55+ buyers a collection of single family homes, along with a desirable low-maintenance lifestyle and a variety of resort-like amenities. One of the community’s distinguishing features is its selection of completely new single-family home designs — the first time that any of these floorplans have been offered at a community in New Jersey. The floorplans are more current and offer the open-concept design that is so popular among buyers today, as guests will be able to see when they walk through the Killarney II Loft and Ibiza model homes. Pricing for the homes, which is subject to change, will start in the low-$400s (subject to change).

Another distinguishing feature of K. Hovnanian’s Four Seasons at Monroe is the community’s lack of restrictions on adult (19+) children living at home with their parents. This “family-friendly” policy is unique among active-adult communities in the area. K. Hovnanian’s policy is reflective of today’s “boomerang generation,” with more and more adult children returning home to live with parents after briefly living on their own, either temporarily or for an indefinite period of time.

At K. Hovnanian’s Four Seasons at Monroe, homeowners will also enjoy a variety of recreational and social opportunities to provide a true “resort-at-home” lifestyle. The community will feature an impressive clubhouse featuring approximately 5,500 square feet of amenities including an outdoor pool, a kiddie pool, bocce courts, tennis courts, pickle ball courts, and a gazebo. Homeowners will also be able to participate in a number of clubs and social activities.

One of the best amenities of the new community is its location. Homeowners will enjoy easy access to major roadways such as the New Jersey Turnpike, as well as Routes 1, 18, 33 and 130. Eminently commutable to New York City, with a nearby Park-and-Ride and a NJ Transit station at Princeton Junction, Monroe Township is an ideal place to call home. The township offers many local amenities and attractions, including 18 county parks, a variety of golf courses, as well as many major shopping centers and fine restaurants. The Jersey shore is only a 20-minute drive to the east, and Princeton is just a short drive away, offering plenty of dining, educational, entertainment and cultural options.
