Lt. Christopher H. Kascik of the Hopewell Township Police Department reported:
Sept. 19 at 4:30 p.m., Officer James Klesney went to the Stop & Shop on Denow Road on a report of a shoplifting incident.
Loss prevention employees said an unknown black male had entered the store and stole approximately $500 worth of groceries, then fled. The investigation is ongoing.

Saturday at 7:57 a.m., Officer William Gaskill stopped a 2014 Chevy on Reed Road for speeding (47 mph in a 25-mph zone).
The driver, Megan C. Dower, 29, of Dogwood Lane, Succasunna, had warrants for her arrest from Hopewell Township. She was released after posting bail.
