Pumpkin painting and Halloween crafts will take place from 1-5 p.m. Oct. 24 at the Manalapan Community Center, Route 33, Manalapan. The $5 fee includes a pumpkin and painting supplies for the crafts. The Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth County is looking for 10 young men or women, 12 to 18 years of age, to perform in a stage reading of “I Never Saw Another Butterfly” to be presented on Nov. 22. Only two or three rehearsals are necessary. Strong stage presence a must; singing ability is a plus.
