PRINCETON: Bicyclist injured after being struck by van on Alexander Street

A 66-year-old bicyclist was injured when he was struck by a van on Alexander Street at 1:35 a.m. Oct. 9, according to the Princeton Police Department.
Arthur Diringer, 66, of Greenbriar Row, was riding his bicycle on Alexander Street near Dickinson Street when he was struck by a 1998 Ford Windstar van, driven by Stephanie Mulryne, 23, of Hamilton Township, police said.
Ms. Mulryne struck Mr. Diringer and his bicycle with the front end of her vehicle. She was charged with driving while intoxicated, improper use of a cell phone and reckless driving after police determined that she was intoxicated.
Mr. Diringer suffered a facial injury and was taken to the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro by the Princeton First Aid and Rescue Squad. 
