The Indo-American Cultural Foundation of Central Jersey will hold its Grand Navratri Garba celebration from 8 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. on Oct. 16, 17, 23 and 24 at Crossroads Middle School South, 195 Major Rd., Monmouth Junction, and from 8 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. on Oct. 31 at South Brunswick High School, 750 Ridge Rd., Monmouth Junction.
Navratri marks the festival of nine lights during which Hindus worship the Goddesses of Shakti Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswati.
Mahesh Mehta and his group of Bollywood artists will join local musicians along with Entertainment Unlimited for non-stop live entertainment. There will also be refreshments, vendors and decorations.
