As a resident of Skillman I am writing to urge voters to press the button for Andrew Zwicker and Maureen Vella on this election day, Nov. 3. We need these two excellent, thoughtful Democratic candidates in our state Assembly.
I am also writing as a long-time volunteer for our county Planned Parenthood affiliate, and served a term as chairman of its board. Zwicker and Vella will fight to stop the current assault on Planned Parenthood funding, which could result in the loss of vitally needed healthcare for women, men, and teenagers in our area.
Off-year elections are notorious for low voter turnout. Let’s reverse this trend on Nov. 3 and vote for Zwicker and Vella.
