A Skillman-based junior tennis team out of Nassau Tennis Club placed second at the finished second at the 2015 USTA Junior Team Tennis 18U Intermediate National Championships, held at the Cayce Tennis and Fitness Center in Cayce, S.C. The team, also known as Nassau Godz ‘n Goddezzez, lost to a team from Columbia, Md., 44-42, in the championship match. On Saturday, the team defeated a team from Midlothian, Va., 53-44), in the semifinals.
The team is coached by Benton Camper and features team members: Benton Camper (Belle Mead), Emily Roeper (Belle Mead), Shannon Lu (Belle Mead), William Camper (Belle Mead), Zachary Anderson (Belle Mead), Alan Dogan (Hillsborough), Stephanie Ji (Plainsboro), Elise Gerdes (Princeton) and Lily Chu (Skillman).
