Intercultural service to reflect different faiths

The public is invited to the 15th annual “United We Sing — Music of Gratitude” celebration at 4 p.m. Nov. 22 at the Unitarian Universalist Meeting House, 1475 W. Front St., Lincroft.

The intercultural service of music, word and dance will present the voices of different faiths and is sponsored by the Monmouth Center for World Religions and Ethical Thought and the Social Action Committee of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Monmouth County.

The service originated in the aftermath of Sept. 11, 2001. Since then, Muslim, Jain, Christian, Baha’i, Hindu, Sikh, Jewish, Native American, Buddhist and Unitarian Universalist communities have come together to experience the healing effect of the services over the years.

Children are especially welcome to attend. Refreshments will be provided after the service. For more information, contact Esmat Mahmoud at 732-371-5412 or visit www.interfaith-mcwret.org.
