The Lutheran Church of the Reformation is having an ongoing food drive to ensure that the food pantry is always stocked and ready to help those in need of food. The food pantry is currently operating at the lowest stock levels in recent times. With the stock levels being so low, and the increasing number of people needing help around the holidays, they are reaching out to the community for help.
Items most needed are canned soup, juice, canned fruit, canned vegetables, pasta, jelly, and hot and cold cereal. Please, no glass jars or expired food.
Food donations can be dropped off at the church, located at 992 Broadway, West Long Branch, Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Use the rear entrance next to the mailbox.
