Race relations discussion scheduled for Dec. 9

The League of Women Voters of Greater Red Bank will present an interactive discussion about race relations in America today, with guest speaker Gilda Rogers, on Dec. 9 at 7 p.m. at the Monmouth County Library, Route 35, Shrewsbury. Rogers in the co-founder of Citizens for a Free and Open Diverse Society.

The panel will look at discrepancies on how the media describes events based on the racial divide and examine personal feelings, experiences, and unconscious reactions to people who may appear to be different than ourselves. All are welcome.
