The Bordentown Elks Women’s Auxiliary will host a Craft Show with over 80 vendors from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 11 Amboy Road in Bordentown. Admission is free. Cranbury Museum, 4 Park Pace East, Cranbury. Open Sunday,1-4 p.m. Exhibit, “Depression Glass: Candy-Colored Glass of the Depression Era“ showcases the colorful American Glassware producedduring the Depression Era and features more than 300 pieces. 
Thurs. Nov. 26 
Start off your Thanksgiving Day by helping those in need. Participate in the Third Annual Mercer County Turkey Trot at Mercer County Park, 334 South Post Road, West Windsor, NJ 08550. The morning event will consist of a 5K Race and a 1-mile walk/run. The 5K race kicks off at 8:30 a.m. from the West Picnic area. The 1-mile walk/run begins at 8:35 a.m. The entry fee is $25 until Oct. 31, 2015 and $30 after October 31, 2015. Visit www.mercercountyturkeytrot.com. Proceeds from the event will benefit local food pantries, including Jewish Family and Children’s Service (JFCS) Kosher Food Pantry, Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK), Catholic Charities and the Red Cross. Participants are also encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to be donated to the food pantries. 

The Ladies Auxiliary of Hightstown Engine Co. No. 1 will sponsor a Christmas Lighting Ceremony at 6:30 p.m. The Santa parade will begin at Leshin Lane down South Main Street through the center of town to the firehouse at 140 N. Main St. The “Man in Red” will end up at the firehouse to pull the switch to turn on the holiday lights in the downtown area. Everyone is then invited into the firehouse where the children may visit with Santa and have their picture taken ($3.00 each) and enjoy refreshments. Bring a toy for someone less fortunate. 

The Holy Cross Lutheran Church Christmas Bazaar will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church, 280 Crosswicks Road, Bordentown. 
Mon., Nov. 30 
Township Senior Center offers trip to Yuletide at Winterthur in Wilmington, Delaware, on Monday, November 30. A guided tour of Winterthur, the 19th century 175-room boyhood home of horticulturist Henry du Pont, will highlight the wintertime displays, breathtakingly decorated trees, colorfully dressed rooms and exquisite faux food and place settings. The bus will leave from the Senior Center, 40 Lanning Boulevard, at 8 a.m. and return at approximately 4:30 p.m. The cost is $35, and lunch on your own in their cafeteria. The Senior Center is open to seniors ages 60 years old and over who reside in East Windsor Township and Hightstown Borough. Contact (609) 371-7192 for additional information. 

The Beth El Synagogue Werner Lecture Fund presents Larry Wolfert and “About Jewish Folk Singers” at 7 p.m. Larry Wolfert’s passion for folk music has played a key part in his role in keeping it alive in Central New Jersey. Beth El Synagogue of East Windsor Genealogy Club will be hosting Roger Lustig presenting “New On-line Resources for Germany and Prussia” at 7:30 p.m. Mr. Lustig will present an outline of German records; where to look for vital records according to date and place and also cover other types of sources. He has been doing genealogical research since 2002, and has done research for clients since 2008. His specialty is German Jewry, and within that, Prussia; and most of all, Upper Silesia, a region now in Poland, where his father’s family lived for centuries.
