PRINCETON POLICE BLOTTER: Nov. 24

  • Derrick Wilson, 44, of Ewing Township, was arrested on multiple outstanding warrants totaling $4,500 from Trenton Municipal Court after he was stopped on Elm Road at 10:12 a.m. Nov. 22. 
  • Vandals damaged an ice skating sign and tossed garbage into a pond at Community Park North, off Mountain Avenue. The vandalism was reported at 11:47 a.m. Nov. 22. 
  • A Lawrence Drive resident reported that a vandal shattered his car’s rear hatch window while it was parked on William Street, resulting in $500 worth of damage. The incident was reported at 7:39 p.m. Nov. 22.
  • Jamar Spruill, 21, of Manville, was charged with hindering apprehension for giving false information to a police officer following a motor vehicle stop on State Road at 4:18 p.m. Nov. 20. He was also found to have outstanding warrants totaling $650 from the Atlantic City and Northfield municipal courts. 
  • Leslie Williams, 49, of Washington, D.C., was arrested on an outstanding warrant for $113 from Elizabeth Municipal Court following a motor vehicle stop on State Road at 10:35 a.m. Nov. 19. 
  • Mario Baldassari, 59, of Trenton, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for $263 from Trenton Municipal Court following a motor vehicle stop on Lawrenceville Road at 2:35 p.m. Nov. 19. 
  • Someone entered a vehicle belonging to an Erdman Avenue resident and stole a Bluetooth device, valued at $100, sometime between Nov. 16 and Nov. 17. The burglary and theft was reported at 12:42 p.m. Nov. 17. 
  • A Princeton-Kingston Road resident reported that someone gained access to her personal information and used her Visa account to purchase $4,331.36 worth of merchandise at the Apple store at the Bridgewater Mall. The incident was reported at 4:59 p.m. Nov. 17. 
  • Gary Campi, 36, of Monroeville, was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop on Mercer Street at 3:35 p.m. Nov. 18. He had a stun gun and brass knuckles in his possession, police said. 
  • Kelley Laragione, 51, of Moorestown, was charged with shoplifting for taking $54 worth of merchandise from the Nearly New Shop on Nassau Street on Sept. 25. She turned herself in to police at 9:08 p.m. Nov. 14. Her actions were captured on store surveillance and her image was broadcast over the Police Department’s social media websites. 
