PRINCETON: Police arrest two on heroin charges

A Princeton man and a Lawrence Township woman have been charged with an assortment of drug charges, following a search of a John Street residence Tuesday morning, according to the Princeton Police Department.
Police obtained a search warrant and arrested Jordan C. Walden, 22, of John Street, and Laura Sliwa, 19, of Lawrence Township at about 9 a.m.
Mr. Walden was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine and possession of prescription legend drugs, police said.
The drug distribution charges were within 1,000 feet of school property, and within 500 feet of a public park and public housing, police said.
Mr. Walden was also charged with various firearms offenses, including possession of an imitation firearm, police said. He was taken to the Mercer County Correction Center on $225,000 bail.
Ms. Sliwa was charged with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said. She was taken to the Mercer County Correction Center on $10,000 bail, with a 10-percent option. 
