Christmas musical set in Monmouth Beach

Lighthouse Productions will present its Christmas musical, Time for a Miracle, on Dec. 3, 4 and 5 at 7:30 p.m. and on Dec. 5 and 6 at 2 p.m., at The Church of the Precious Blood in the back Parish Center Auditorium, 72 Riverdale Ave., Monmouth Beach.

The story follows Rosie Dunphy, of Howell, as Charlie, a young orphan in search of her mother, and Meghan Roeder, of Freehold, as Elizabeth, a 13-year-old girl in need of a miracle. Joining them in featured roles are Amy Dunphy and Cayla Lloyd of Howell, Dan Gualtieri of Keansburg, Andrea, David, Maddy and Ella Clemenko of Freehold, Richard O’Leary of Middletown, Russ and Gail Scalzo of Oceanport and Greyson Riley of Matawan.

The writing/directing team includes Father daughter Russ Scalzo and Rachel Ryan. The show in its second year, features 15 songs and a story about friendship, healing and redemption. Ryan penned the book and Scalzo the music and lyrics. They are joined by the musical arrangements of Christian Potterton, of Marlboro.

Tickets are $10 each; children 5 years and under are free. All shows are open to the public and seating is first come, first served. Advanced ticket sales with premiere seating options are available through the website. Doors will open a half hour before show time
