The Metuchen Area Chamber of Commerce, Borough Improvement League and the Metuchen Fire Department will serves as the co-hosts to the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Dec. 4. Festivities will begin at 6 p.m. at the Old Franklin School, 491 Middlesex Ave., Metuchen. The tree will be lit at 7 p.m. Planned activities include a winter wonderland display, hot chocolate and cookies, and a visit with Santa Claus.
