LAWRENCE: Motorcyclist killed in crash at Quakerbridge Road and Lawrence Station Road (Updated)

LAWRENCE — A motorcyclist was killed when his motorcycle collided with a BMW at Quakerbridge Road and Lawrence Station Road shortly before 5 p.m. Dec. 15, according to the Lawrence Township Police Department.
Barry Rittenhouse, 54, of Hamilton Township, was operating the motorcycle when it struck a 2002 BMW driven by Denise Twisdale, 58, of Trenton, at the intersection at 4:42 p.m., police said. Mr. Rittenhouse was pronounced dead at the scene.
Ms. Twisdale, who was traveling west on Quakerbridge Road, was making a left turn onto Lawrence Station Road when Mr. Rittenhouse’s motorcycle struck the car. Mr. Rittenhouse was traveling east on Quakerbridge Road, toward Hamilton Township, police said.
The accident is still under investigation by the Lawrence Township Police Department and the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office’s Serious Collision Unit. No summonses have been issued at this time.
