Temple Beth Ahm, 440 Lloyd Road, Aberdeen, will host a Geriatric Care Resource Seminar on Jan. 13, 7:30-9:30 p.m.
A geriatric care manager will discuss housing options, an elder law attorney will discuss vital legal documents everyone should have, and a daily money manager will discuss the importance of managing vital personal information so it can be retrieved by loved ones in emergencies or death. The speaking portion will be followed by a question and answer session. After this session there will be representatives from dozens of different resources for geriatric care available to speak with and get follow-up information from. This is a unique educational opportunity to learn what you can do now to prepare, what kind of services are available when you need them so you can become proactive.
