Youngsters invited to programs at library

The Monroe Township Library, 4 Municipal Plaza, will offer a variety of upcoming children’s programs.

“Stay and Play,” for ages 2-4, is set for 10 a.m. Jan. 4 and 24. Story time, puppets and more will be followed by open play. Registration will begin 9:30 a.m. Dec. 29.

“Drop-In Lego Corner,” recommended for ages 5 and above, is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Jan. 4, 11 and 25. Registration is not required.

“Becky’s Cozy Corner,” open to ages 5 and above, is planned for 7 p.m. Jan. 4. Youngsters will sit and chat with Becky while she demonstrates a simple craft to make. Registration is not required.

“Music With Pat McKinley,” a musical program for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, is set for 11:45 a.m. Jan. 5, 12, 19 and 26. Registration is not required.

“Starlight Express,” an alternative to daytime story time for ages 3-5, will be held 7 p.m. Jan. 5, 12, 19 and 26. Registration is not required.

“Story Time,” for ages 3-5, is set for 10:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m., Jan. 7, 14, 21, 28, Feb. 4 and 11. Registration will begin 9:30 a.m. Dec. 29.

“Make Magnetic Slime,” open to ages 9 and above, is planned for 5 p.m., Jan. 7. Participants will make and experiment with magnetic slime, a concoction that reacts with magnets. Registration will begin 9:30 a.m. Dec. 29.
