The Keyport Borough Recreation Commission and the Keyport Spanish American Club will present the eighth annual Keyport Fest 5K.
The Keyport Fest 5K will be held on Sept. 20, rain or shine. Awards will go to the top-three males and females for the 5K, along with the first three in each age group. There is an award to the top Keyport teacher, male and female. The top Keyport Emergency Services personnel will also be honored.
The KeyportFest 5K starts at 8:30 a.m. Check-in and day-of registration begins at 7 a.m. at Fireman’s Park in Keyport across from the Keyport Fishery near the waterfront.
The first 150 pre-entrants for the 5K are each guaranteed commemorative race Tshirts. Mail your entry application by Sept. 13 to take advantage of the low pre-entry fee of $20. Entering the race after this date will be $25. Post entries will be taken right up until race time. There will be music, post-race refreshments and raffle prizes available to all 5K race participants.

The pre-race packet pick up (or sign up) will be on Sept. 19 from 6-9 p.m. at the Real Gymm, 19 W. Front Street, rear entrance Waterfront Side.
