MARLBORO – The Marlboro Police Department has welcomed three officers to its ranks.
The new members of the force took the oath of office during the July 16 meeting o the Township Council.
Police Chief Bruce Hall welcomed Kelly Drum, Michael Morgante and Brian Peterson to the department.
Drum, 25, has lived in Marlboro for 23 years. She is a graduate of Marlboro High School and Rutgers University. Drum was a member of the Marlboro Police Explorers post from 2005-11 and was a Class I Special Officer in Spring Lake from 2011-14. She was on staff as a communications officer for Marlboro from 2012 until her appointment as a police officer.
Morgante, 29, has lived in Marlboro for 26 years. He is a graduate of Marlboro High School and Monmouth University.
Peterson, 28, has been a resident of Marlboro for two years. He is a graduate of Manalapan High School and earned an associate’s degree from Brookdale Community College. Peterson was on staff as a communications operator for Marlboro from 2011 until his appointment as a police officer.
Mayor Jonathan Hornik swore in the new officers during the council meeting.
