POLICE BLOTTER: Week of June 1

Hightstown
   A 24-year-old woman from Morrisville, Pa., was charged with contempt of court May 17 at midnight, according to police.
   Bernadette Barnaby was arrested on an outstanding warrant issued by Hightstown Borough Municipal Court.
   Three additional warrants were found for Ms. Barnaby: Trenton Municipal Court in the amount of $133; Ewing Municipal Court in the amount of $150; and Lawrenceville Municipal Court in the amount of $100. She was later released upon posting bail.
   Police arrested and charged a man with driving while intoxicated in a school zone on May 19 at 2:23 a.m.
   Jonathon Lin, 29, of Robbinsville was stopped for traveling 38 mph in a 25 mph speed zone and the officer noticed the smell of alcohol coming from his car, police said.
   He was also charged with driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit breath samples, speeding, and careless driving. Mr. Lin refused to provide breath samples and was later released to the custody of a friend.
   Police arrested and charged a Yardley, Pa., resident with driving while intoxicated on May 20 at 1:27 a.m.
   Allison Kuronya, 25, was observed driving over the cement median in the center of town and was stopped for the infraction and the officer noticed the smell of alcohol coming from her car.
   She was also charged with driving while intoxicated in a school zone, reckless driving, and failure to maintain lane.
   Ms. Kuronya was later released to family members with pending court action.
   Police said they charged a 36-year-old man with driving while intoxicated on May 20 at 3:23 a.m.
   Officers observed Esteban Moreno of Pleasantville, N.Y., driving 10 mph in a 35 mph zone on flat tire. They stopped him and noticed three open cans of beer in his car.
   Mr. Moreno was transported to headquarters where he submitted breath samples that resulted in a reading of 0.11 percent  BAC. Police also charged him with driving while intoxicated in a school zone, reckless driving, unlicensed driving, delaying traffic, failure to exhibit credentials, possession of open containers of alcohol, and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle.
   Mr. Moreno was later released to family members with pending court action.
   Police said they charged a man with possession of marijuana under 50 grams on May 22 at 6:24 p.m.
   Michael Wulstein, 43, of Maple Stream Road in East Windsor was seen smoking marijuana while driving his car according to police.
   Mr. Wulstein was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance, driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated in a school zone, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a school zone, and careless driving.
   He was taken into custody and was later released to family members with pending court action.
East Windsor
   Police said they arrested and charged two men with theft on May 22 at 3:15 p.m.
   Police believe Christopher Gabriel and Jonathan Runyon, both 20 years old, stole a video player worth approximately $100 from Mercer County Library.
   Both men have been released pending court action.
   Police report six unlocked vehicles were entered overnight on Rockybrook Road and Millstone Drive between May 22 and May 23. Police said a cell phone and an i-Pod were among the items stolen.
   According to police, a 21-year-old Oxford Drive resident for possession of marijuana under 50 grams on May 24 at 9:29 p.m.
   Shane Broderick was in his vehicle when police responded to a report of a suspiciously parked car on Jeffrey Lane.
   He was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and released pending court action.
   Police said they arrested and charged a man for theft after he stole a $500 camera on May 7 at 9:58 p.m.
   Michael Montana, 44, of Highland Park, swiped the camera off a CVS counter. He was later released pending court action.
   Police charged a 16-year-old boy with possession of heroin with intent to distribute it on May 7 at 3:19 p.m. on Stockton Street.
   Police said a search warrant had been issued for the boy’s arrest.
   According to police, 18 packets of heroin, two bags of marijuana, a marijuana grinder, a digital scale, several marijuana pipes and $786 cash were found in his possession.
   The boy has been committed to the Middlesex County Youth Detention Center pending court action. He was also charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and distribution in a school zone.
   A man was charged with driving while intoxicated after he crashed into a utility pole on May 27 at 12:15 p.m.
   Nicholas Manzo, crashed on Route 130 near Old Cranbury Road and was transported to Centra State Hospital for evaluation of minor abrasions and a complaint of pain, according to police.
   He was also charged with reckless driving, careless driving and failure to maintain lane.
   Mr. Manzo was later released to the care of the hospital pending court action.
