North Brunswick resident Dennis McDonough was recently nominated for reappointment to the New Jersey State Athletic Control Board, following submission of the nomination by acting Gov. Richard J. Codey to the New Jersey State Senate.

The North Brunswick Fire Department and North Brunswick First Aid Squad recently received a contribution from Bristol-Myers Squibb, Princeton, in recognition of National Safety Month during June. The company donated $123,000 to enable six township organizations to purchase equipment to support the organizations’ work. Among the equipment being purchased will be defibrillators, an ambulance, rescue equipment, a trailer for an ATV, and a chief’s vehicle.

The accounting firm of WithumSmith & Brown (WS&B) recently moved its staff from K2 Brier Hill Court, East Brunswick, formerly of Mendlowitz Weitsen, to its office at 120 Albany St., New Brunswick.
