Mr. Lavelle, 72, of Old Bridge, died Aug. 20, 2009, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was predeceased by a sister, Maureen. Surviving are a brother, Paul, and his wife, Phyllis, with whom he lived; a niece, Heather Fraunberger, and her husband, John, of North Brunswick; two nephews, Kevin Lavelle, and his wife, Alane, of Sayreville and Timothy Lavelle, and his wife, Dawn, of Howell; and six great-nieces and great-nephews. A Mass was offered at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. Interment was in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
