Veterans to commemorate victory at Battle of the Bulge

Veterans of World War II are a fading commodity. I am a veteran of that war and fought in the Battle of the Ardennes, also known as the Battle of the Bulge. I was born in Germany and, as a Jew, had to leave to save my life.

After immigrating to America, the U.S. Army trained me as an interrogator of prisoners of war. I was attached to the Reconnaissance Battalion of the 7th Armored Division.

On Dec. 12 at Brookdale Community College, Lincroft, from 1- 4 p.m., we will commemorate the 65th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge. Several veterans of that conflict will be honored. It is an opportunity for you to join some of the survivors of the greatest generation.
