New models a huge success at Monroe Township 55+ community

More than 500 visitors and interested buyers attended the model grand opening last month at K. Hovnanian’s Four Seasons at Monroe, a new active-adult lifestyle community being developed off Prospect Plains Road in Middlesex County’s Monroe Township. The community’s first two models opened the weekend of Sept. 19-20 and, according to the builder, guests were lined up for tours well before the 10 a.m. opening on each day. The weekend event represented the first time interested buyers could see and walk through new, furnished and decorated models in this highly anticipated new community.

K. Hovnanian’s Four Seasons at Monroe offers 55+ buyers a collection of single family homes, along with a desirable low-maintenance lifestyle and a variety of resort-like amenities. One of the community’s distinguishing features is its selection of completely new single-family home designs — the first time that any of these floorplans have been offered at a community in New Jersey. The floorplans are more current and offer the open-concept design that is so popular among buyers today, as guests were able to see when they walked through the new Killarney II Loft and Ibiza model homes. Pricing for the homes, which is subject to change, will start in the low $400s (subject to change).

Another distinguishing feature of K. Hovnanian’s Four Seasons at Monroe is the community’s lack of restrictions on adult (19+) children living at home with their parents. This “family-friendly” policy is unique among active-adult communities in the area. K. Hovnanian’s policy is reflective of today’s “boomerang generation,” with more and more adult children returning home to live with parents after briefly living on their own, either temporarily or for an indefinite period of time. All homes within the community are subject to an age restriction whereby the homes are restricted to use and occupancy by at least one person of age 55 years or over, and with no permanent resident being under the age of 19.

At K. Hovnanian’s Four Seasons at Monroe, homeowners will enjoy a variety of recreational and social opportunities to provide a true “resort-at-home” lifestyle. The community will feature an impressive clubhouse featuring approximately 5,500 square feet of amenities including an outdoor pool, a kiddie pool, bocce courts, tennis courts, pickle ball courts, and a gazebo. Homeowners will also be able to participate in a number of clubs and social activities.

One of the best amenities of the new community is undoubtedly its location. Homeowners will enjoy easy access to major roadways such as the N.J. Turnpike, as well as Routes 1, 18, 33 and 130. Eminently commutable to New York City, with a nearby Park-and-Ride and an NJ Transit station at Princeton Junction, Monroe Township is an ideal place to call home. The township offers many local amenities and attractions, including 18 beautiful county parks, a variety of golf courses, as well as many major shopping centers and fine restaurants. The Jersey shore is only a 20-minute drive to the east, and Princeton is just a short drive away, offering plenty of dining, educational, entertainment and cultural options.

Hovnanian’s Four Seasons at Monroe are now open and available for touring daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Visit the community soon, walk through these impressive, very well-received new models, and learn more about opportunities that are now available in this exciting new 55+ community.
