SOUTH BRUNSWICK: Pennsylvania man found dead in Route 1 hotel

SOUTH BRUNSWICK – Police are investigating whether drug use was involved in the death of a 22-year-old man, whose body was found in the Extended Stay America hotel at 4230 Route 1 Oct. 15.
Police were called to the motel shortly after 1 p.m. for a well-being check, and discovered Austin Eyer of East Stroudsburg, PA. He was found unresponsive in a fourth-floor hotel room. He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics, police said.
An autopsy was conducted Oct. 16, and the cause of death is pending toxicology results. Police are investigating whether narcotics may have played a part in his death.
